Do you need an appointment to come in and shop dresses?
YES—appointments are required if you are a bride, needing a tux, or if you plan to shop on a Saturday.
We want every guest to have the best shopping experience possible. To do that, we carefully manage our schedule to ensure dressing rooms are available and that enough consultants are on hand to give you the attention you deserve.
Because our dressing rooms are limited, we can only guarantee a wonderful experience if you book an appointment in advance for bridal shopping (any day we’re open) or for any type of dress shopping on Saturdays. This helps us stay organized and provide the personalized service we’re known for. We can’t wait to help you find the perfect dress!
If you need a tux or would like to bring your groom and groomsmen in for a tux fitting, an appointment is required so our owner, Nicole, can be present to take all measurements. She has over five years of experience and is excellent at what she does!
What makes our store different from other dress stores?
We take pride in providing exceptional customer service and offering a large selection of beautiful, high-quality dresses for every special occasion. All of our dresses are buy-off-the-rack, which means many of our styles are truly one of a kind. Because we do not reorder dresses, once a specific style is sold, it’s gone for good. This also means there’s little to no chance that someone else will come into our store and purchase the same dress as you—allowing you to feel confident, unique, and truly special in a look that’s all your own.
What are your store hours?
Our store hours change every season. You can find our current hours here on our website, or on all our social media pages. Please be aware we do require appointments for all bridal gown & tux shopping, and for any Saturday dress shopping.
Do you carry bridal gowns?
Yes! We have over 700 beautiful aisle-ready bridal gowns ready for you to try on. Prices range from $200-$4000. Be on the lookout on our social media pages for our bridal sales because we try to have them often to help all our brides get their dream dress while staying on budget. Again, we require appointments for all bridal gown shopping.
Do you carry bridesmaids dresses?
No, sadly due to the required increase in ordering minimums within the bridal companies, and with loss of interest in store due to competing online bridesmaid websites, we no longer carry bridesmaids.
Do you carry tuxes?
Yes, we are an official retailer to both Jim's Formal Wear and Milroy's Formal Wear. We carry all the items they both have to offer, and do custom measurements in store. We require appointments for all tux shopping.
Do you carry pageant, prom, and homecoming dresses?
Yes, we carry over 1000 long and short formal dresses. We have so many dress colors, styles, and patterns to choose from. We require appointments on Saturdays for all formal dress shopping. Walk-ins are always welcome through the week.
Do you carry little girl pageant, flower girl, and first communion dresses?
Yes, we carry over 200 little girl dresses in store. We require appointments on Saturdays for all little girl dress shopping. Walk-ins are always welcome through the week.
Do you carry Mother of the Groom/Mother of the Bride gowns?
Yes, we still have over 100 mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom dresses in stock, but we are, unfortunately, transitioning out of carrying mothers’ styles. Our remaining selection includes brands such as Adrianna Papell, Jade, Magic Mom, and more.
We only require appointments for mother and grandmother dress shopping on Saturdays. On all other days, walk-ins are welcome.
Do you have dress sales? If so, how often?
We have store sales often, which includes everything . We do have prom & homecoming sales once in a while as well. You can find our current sales on our social media pages.
Are you a second-hand dress shop or a thrift store?
No, we carry mostly all brand new dresses. However, in 2022 we decided to open our shop to allow consignment dresses to be sold at our establishment. We wanted to give many of our customers a place they could come back to and resell their dresses, if they so chose to. This also allowed FD to expand our inventory and price points for all our customers and their budgets.
Do you special order dresses?
No. Since 2023, FD became a fully buy-off-the-rack only. We wanted our customers to be able to go home with the exact beautiful dress they tried on in store and saw in person that same day.
What sizes do you carry in flower girl?
Newborn to child's size 20.
What sizes do you carry in bridal gowns?
Size 0 to size 34.
What sizes do you carry in mother and grandmother of the bride?
Size 0 to size 30.
What sizes in homecoming do you carry?
Size 000 to size 32.
What sizes in prom dresses do you carry?
Size 000 to size 36.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and Apple Pay. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS OR AMERICAN EXPRESS.
